Maybe they should put that money into their employees salaries rather than new "toys". I always see them trying "pimp" when they are driving it around. One officer in particular whom I dislike very much due to his attitude but that's another story.
We have a lot of import tuners here so for HWY interceptors our why patrol shelled out major dough for 5 EVO 8's and dropped 30 grand tuning them..and to let the tuners have fun they take them to a LEGAL "Beat the Heat" race. Its a legal 1/4 mile race where all the police departments come with representing cars and you can race a the cops and any thing they bring .

Oh yea the EVO's have never been beat.
