LOL I watched about 5 minutes of Inuyasha last night (anime show on cartoon network) and the way they draw the sweat beads and the like intense lines LOL, that's what came to mind when read this... lmao I'm not sure if that helps or not, sorry man... IMO picking a tattoo is a pretty personal thing... well for those tattoos that you actually think about before you get them (ever just woken up with a new one and a hangover? LMAO)
what comes to your mind when you think of pure adrenaline.
Panther is always a good tatoo and especially if you are thinking along the adrenaline line. Look for some sketches online with defined muscles... they look very good.

I would think any kind of animal in an intense position.
Any animal? A lamb about to baaah. Or when my cat gets ready to pounce and he wiggles his butt.
Adrenaline...some sorta big cat in pouncing position (minus the butt wiggle) or stalking mode. Black panthers look cool. Or a snake about to strike. A hawk about to catch it's prey.
Big cats always remind you of adrenaline. A pouncing big cat or one that is stalking. The only problem with these tattoos is the fact that so many people have them, and they kind of lose their personal meaning a bit.
