I have a very nervous BP and when I need to give her shot myself(always) I sit down put her body in between my legs, hold her head with one hand(left for me) and give her the shot with my right hand. You want the shot to be on the front third of her body (towards head). I have given several snakes shots but the rowdy ones require arms and legs.
