Yep, it's incredible! The footage is unreal. I've only seen some of it, but I have it recorded on my DVR.

    Re: Planet Earth

Watch Discovery channel(pretty sure), it's been advertised a lot.
I thought some of the shots were AWESOME. Dunno that I care that much for Sigourny Weaver as narrator.. makes it sound kind of dull even. But the shots ... whooo.. and there is a lot of pats on their own back too. "This is first time captured on film.. " "Never before seen in the wild.." I feel like saying "Yeh, I get it, it's wonderful, how about more of it, less of the gloating?"
The wide shots, the overhead stabalized shots.. just stunning. The jungle birds of paradise were just WEIRD!! I laughed pretty hard, since one looked reparkable like a big black smiley face when he was displaying.
I can't wait to see more.

    Re: Planet Earth

Is this the Planet Earth series broadcast on the BBC last year, also produced by the BBC. If so, i encourage you all to watch it. Not too sure about the Siguorny Weaver narration, we had Sir David Attenborough narrating the british showing, probably one of the greatest naturalists to grace this earth
