If you didn't pay a good amount of money for her I'm pretty sure she's probably not...but just in case heres a pretty good guide with indicators:

Re: yellow bellies

A pic of yours would help us answer your question, but I thought I'd post a pic of mine to show you what they look like.

Re: yellow bellies
First thing you want to look for with yellow bellies is a nice clear belly(does not have to be yellow). all good yellow bellies have light heads and flames on the sides.

Re: yellow bellies
This is a good example of flames on a yellow belly!

Re: yellow bellies
Jason, you are absolutly wrong in making a statement like this!
If you know what to look for, its no trouble finding $15.00-$20.00 yellow bellies at the shows that have not been recognised by someone. the key is to hit as many shows at the right time of year as you can (April-June).

You should be clear that not all YBs are Het Ivory. So if making an Ivory is your reason for picking up a YB, you'll want to make sure it comes from a proven line.

So are you picking up these unproven $15-$20 yellow bellies and flipping them as het ivories for $500-$1200?
We get tons of newbs every day that want to know what there normal could be...most of them "suprisingly" LMAO turn out to be...normals. They are normal unless proven otherwise.

Re: yellow bellies
Buying a yellow belly from a proven genetic bloodline is the safest way to go. Ivory balls originally came from a pair of imported yellow bellies and it was a big surprise when a white snake crawled out of those eggs.
I did breedings this year with imported yellow belly males and females. its going to be fun watching those eggs hatch and interesting watching the Ivory balls crawl out!
