1) yep I'd take it out and inspect it to make sure it's all there including both eyecaps.
2)If the skin is all off and you dont need to do anything else I can't see any reason not to go ahead and feed him - just remember to plan ahead as you then shouldn't disturb him for at least 48 hours after the feeding.

i just check up on him and theres only a small piece of skin still attached to the tip of his tail, looks like it will come off soon so ill just leave... and thx for clearing that eating part up !i was just worried about him not being able to eat because of his new skin
