Discharge
While I think this is what I wanted...I still can't help but feel like I am leaving my brothers. I have had issues with my unit's operations that I will not miss but I will definitely miss being a part of something so great. I will never forget the faces of those I have trained along side the last 4 years. I especially won't forget those friends and comrades who have fallen. I want to thank those of you who have made a career of the military, you already know you can never be thanked enough. My short time in the National Guard has given me a glimpse of what some go through every day and call "just another day at work". Having experienced some of this it only makes me respect the men and women in the service all the more...THANK YOU

Re: Discharge
it is never an easy thing to leave the military. weather it be delt by your own hands or by the military it's self. I have been through one discharge from the US Army. my mother was put out. I will be going through it again with my husband. even being a dependent it is still hard to leave.
Wish you the best of luck

Honorable Discharge???
When you've got 10,000 people trying to do the same thing, why would you want to be number 10,001? ~ Mark Cuban "for the discerning collector"

Re: Discharge
Mike still wears his favorite US Army jacket pretty much daily, still keeps his hair short like it was in the service and still hates wet socks with the heart deep dislike of any service person LOL. Sometimes I wonder why he ever left.
Best wishes on the next chapter in your life Heath.

Re: Discharge
Congrats! My dad was a dog handler in the ARMY. An MP. It always sounds so cool, but I don't know if it is for me.
