The first one is a normal colombian red tail, my Baby. The second is a full size (or close to it) 7.5 foot Colombian red tail, my other "baby" lol. I was giving you a size comparison from a baby to an adult. I'm glad you liked my pics! Gives me a want to take more!

If fed on a relatively conservative diet(enough food to keep their body shape in check), males will likely never get much over the 6' mark and females not likely to get much over the 8' mark. It really depends but you can keep your boa small without starving it and conservative feeding will make for a much healthier boa than one that is obese. If you want to know more about my conservative feeding, let me know
I was really looking for some info on this myself; it is the best description of how I feed my BCI male also.

What advice can I give about boas? They are awesome snakes, but they are really pretty different than a ball python. Their size is one thing; they are alrger but also a bit more agile and prehensile-tailed than a BP.. the others have said all the technical stuff.
-Jen. Back in the hobby after a hiatus!
    Ball pythons:
    0.1 normal; 1.1 albino. 1.0 pied; 0.1 het pied; 1.0 banana.

Redtails are also less shy. You can handle them almost everyday and they will almost always eat.
Jen, were you asking about some more info on feeding or what? I can't comprehend

Too many boas to list and a few balls as well
