I started to ask this a while ago, but I'm looking to get either a BCC or a BCI this summer, so I thought I would dive back in to it again. I would prefer a BCC, but in the end, I think the price will be the main determinant. I'm planning on attending a show or two this summer (in Northern Virginia), and that is most likely where I will buy from. Are there certain things to look for in RTB's when inspecting them (other than the usual for any reptile: damaged scales, thin, etc)? I've heard about IBD, but is there any way other than a blood test to spot it? Also, I've been building cabinets for the last 5 years, and will be building the new enclosure myself; I would like to build a 4'X2' that will last the snake most, if not all of it's life, but would that put way too much stress on the snake (I'm not sure how large a snake I can get from a show, but the bigger the better, only b/c I'm not really in to babies). Finally, I was planning on using the boa's 4'X2' for the base of my snake display, then my BP (in his tub) in the middle, and my corn in has cage on top...could that cause any foreseeable problems? I'm not sure if they would be able to smell each other and be stressed or any other problems. If anyone has some input (or a salmon BCC for sale!!), please help me out.
