    rat rack woes

A friend of mine gave me his rat rack that he built with intentions of using but never got to. It had a tiny tiny gap between hardware cloth and top of the tubs but I did not think anything of it. I just came home from working for 14 hours straight and doing another 2 hours of homework and what do I want into my shed to see? bedding everywhere and 7 rats running around. Let me tell you I cannot begin to explain my excitement in this event! Time to build another now.

can you just take off the rail pieces that the tubs slide on and move them up closer to the hardware cloth? at least this happened in the shed and not in your house! that would have been quite disasterous.

Well his rack was too small anyway. I am building them to fit the height of the wall in my shed to make it more space efficient.
