Anyone else a pen an paper player around here? There's got to be someone!
I play D&D (3.5e... I played one 2e campaign and it was ridiculous) and I have played a bit of Exalted.
What are your favourite pen and paper games? What are your most epic character stories?
All of my friends who DM have this thing. They HATE long-lived characters. If you survive above your 7th level, something is horribly wrong. Characters just don't live very long in our circle.
I was playing a 2nd ed campaign and I had a bard named Vis who had a ring that gave her 18 charisma with anything spoken. And she had a comeliness of 24. Obviously, she didn't fight much... she knew how to get her way
This campaign was set against the Dragonlance world, which has a Cataclysm occur... shortly after our characters came into existence.
Well not only did I get to use three Wish spells in this campaign, I duplicated myself and the universe) and managed to get both of my character into the same universe (Vis and Vis+1 cause one was an hour older) and I moved the cataclysm. My character was EPIC!
