My sweet little Kyna is getting mighty kranky....She even pooped on my bed to spite me the other day.... she has been really really protective of her cage so I think she is going to shed but im not quite sure... It makes sence I guess it is about time she shed. Her little belly hasn't turned all pink yet and she doesnt have milky eyes yet either.. but do they get kinda cranky before they shed, she has been like this for about a week..

How long have you had her?mine got slightly cranky the other day after she poop'd in the tank,then she ate a mouse yesterday for the first time since i got her almost 2 months ago.maybe this is why she is a little cranky.maybe im wrong as im new to pythons but its just a thaught.or as you say maybe she is getting ready to shed,as iv read that sometimes they do not like being handled when they are shedding their skin.

Do her scales look darker? If she's looking a lot darker or duller, then she could be about to shed... or she just feels cranky! Every once in awhile mine just acts like a jerk for a couple of days too

Mines been a little ES H EYE TEA lately! and by lately i mean like 2 or 3 weeks. I have everything correct, yet he still gives me crap. He was so kind and gentle at first too

Maybe i'll train him to kill.
