    I plug my UTH into my thermostat. It has two lights on it: POWER and HEAT. The HEAT light comes on when it's making the UTH warm up and it makes a click osund when it's doing this. There's a dial and you set it to 95. Honestly, I don't think you'd need both because mine stays warn just fine with only a UTH plugged into it.
    And then you don't need to worry about sacrificing your humidity! They may be expensive, but they're worth every penny.

    BPs don't need a CHE to bake under. Belly heat is what they're all about.
