    help me plzz

    i got my humidity gauge today and the humidity has been at between 80 and 90 all night is that too much and plz tell me a way to tame these extremes from 40 t0 90

    ya i put paper towels over it i read it help brg it up but i think its too high now

    What STYLE of humidity gauge???? The little round, stick on the side, reptile ones are VERY inaccurate.

    You need to have a digital thermometer/hydrometer such as this one which will give you an accurate reading of both temps and humidity.

    I picked mine up at Walmart. It was in the hardware section for about $15. Some WalMarts have them in the "garden" section instead of the hardware section--if you can't find them, I'm sure an employee can tell you where they are

    I have the Accurite and it's -awesome-. It measures the cool side temp, warm side temp and humidity all at the same time, and you can read them all at once on the screen. WAY worth it

    I have a 20l tank as well and by using the sticky in the caging forum I was able to cover the top of tank with tinfoil then black duct tape on top hold in humidity and heat. Check out the sticky, it helps out alot.
