    Her First Feeding

hey,yet another new thread from me within the hour, but finally my Royal Carmen ate.pooped the other day and now just 20 minutes ago she ate for the first time since i got her,i dangled the mouse in the tank and after 2 minutes she struck at it and hit it very agressively, but 2 mins later she dropped it so i picked it up in the thongs again and she struck at the head and swallowed it.big releif for me to see her finally eat, amazing sight it was.my camera isnt the best so i couldnt get a proper pic but hopefully next time she feeds il have a pic to put up here.thanks for all the advice you people have given me.

Congrats on the successful feeding. She likely dropped it to prepare for eating it (some like to sniff around the prey or check out the area for safety prior to actually eating).

na she dropped it n went away from it.she loves interactin with people, she qas actually heading back to her hide before i picked it up again, but when she it she hit it hard.now she is liek me after a feed, just lays there not movin.i gotta say though, watchin her feed was the best sight iv seen in a long time.for a snake that moves so slowly when i handle her, she sure can strike lightening fast when a meal enters the tank.
