    pied breeding "?"

    What would the likely outcome be of Pied x 100% het pied? Thanks..!

    50% pied 50% het. The best thing about them no two are alike.

    Jen, use this link, it applies to Pieds as well, since they are recessive:

    Scroll over the Homozygous x Heterozygous example and it shows you the results (which are what CrazyDog already said).

    But the examples help to explain what to expect.

    Excellent point Tim! That's an excellent example of why I think in written communication and advertising people should always use 50% possible het instead of simply 50% het.
