Please help bp not eating???
hi, i've had my bp for 3 and a half years now, she was 9 months when i first got her, she's always eatin fresh killed rats without any problems, now i've tried three different times but she wont take the food, even when i dangle it in front of her she hides her face... i'm starting to worry.. the last time she accepted food was feb 8th it is now march 8th and like i said i've tried three different times with no luck... i just bought a rat today and it's just not taking it, please if any body can help please do, thanks sooo much

First a month without food is nothing to worry about it can happen and as long as BP do not lose too much weight it is ok.
Food refusal can occur for several reasons, breeding, illness, husbandry problems or overfeeding
Double check your setup make sure your temps are where they should be 80-84 on the cool side and 90-94 on the warm side
Your humidity should be at 50%-60%
What size rat do you usually feed her?

everything is the way it should be, everything is like it's always been.. that's why i don't understand it, and she's always eatin adult sized rats..

So you mean medium or large rat right?
Well in this case she is probably fasting to catch up!
If you want a BP that feed with more consistency I would recommend to feed smaller prey, a small rat (4 weeks old) is sufficient even for adult BP.

yeah she usually eats medium to large, thanks alot for your help i will make sure to give her smaller rats now and i will keep in touch to see what happens, again thanks
