I like the first quote, but it got a little odd after that.

I'm not feeling the love today. I had to get a flat tire replaced and new rear brake pads too. I also had to walk around for 2.5 hours until the fixed it, all the while entertaining a 5 year old.... UGH! Some flowers are definitely in order.
