Getting your hands dirty. (dial up stear clear)

So Mondays is cleaning day for the female rack and I decided to take a few pic while cleaning. Enjoy!

I had four that shed this week all juvi's and subadults nothing big just every day junk. See

When its dirty its dirty (one week)

and now all better and clean.

How do you like those heavy hides in the tubs? I had a couple of those way back when and they slid around and moved the paper all that mess. Not to mention it made cleaning awkward with weight of the tub all out of whack...spilled water bowls galore. Upside down plastic litter boxes rock!

Well the first thing I do I take the water bowl out before I even take the tub all the way out. I have a couple of girls need the extra weight. They like to roam and a light hide tends to get moved around tons. I have stacks of extra tubs and hides so I fix the clean tub and then just transfer the animal and water bowl. Pretty quick.
