    Odin--An Old Picture

I was looking around at the stuff on my Deviantart page (it's been years since I've posted anything there), and I came across an old webcame photo of my pet mouse, Odin.

He was SUCH a sweet boy, and so smart. He ended up having some kind of tumor, I think. He got bigger and bigger ("fat" looking)...I didn't think much of it, until something happened with his eye. It became swollen, he couldn't see out of it, and he started leaning to one side. I think now that he may have had cancer.

It broke my heart to see him suffer, and I didn't know what to do. Before I had to make the decision about how to put him down, he died.

I miss him. He was a good mouse.

Even if Odin was still alive, I don't think I'd be introducing him to any snakes!

Got to love Norse mythology. I also had a mouse named Loki--but he was really mean to Odin (I had Odin first), so Loki had to go.

I thought it was ironic that Odin (my mouse) was one-eyed before he died...just like the norse god. SPOOKY.

My Chondro's name is Odin, and I've had a Leopard gecko named Loki. My puppy is Thor and I've had a Frey and Freya in my collection. My grandfather was from Norway and his name was Thor, as was my uncle's middle name. You gotta love the Norse mythology. The tattoo on my waist is a Urnes style dragon knot.
What are these mojavas I keep hearing so much about?
