    My New 1 Tub Rack. Cost= $0

i just got home for spring break and brought Frank home for the first time. i live in an apt at college, so i dont have alot of time/tools to make anything. i saw that we have alot of stuff sitting around in the garage, so i made this thing in 45 min. everything is scrap pieces, even the paint. (thanks dad haha)

the middle piece of for the recessed bottom on the sterilite tub, so now the flexwatt is right up against the bottom. (still being painted in the pic)

and heres a pic of frank from the other night

Cool! The only 1-tub rack I've ever seen.

thanks! i actually made the "rack" for the sole purpose of hiding him from my landlord(he use to be in an aquarium- waaay to obvious). the lamp comes off during the days (unless its cold out-his tub is right by a window). plus, i thought it looked ugly to just have a piece of tupperware sitting on the ground of my dirty apt. this makes it look a lil more....professional maybe haha

i hate using a lamp, especially at night. maybe with this new "rack", itll insulate a lil better and i wont need the lamp

Haha.. I fooled several people(just for fun) with a snake in an aquarium. Set the tank all up nice and pretty for the python... put in a hide, which typical for a call python he went right for and curled up inside. And then put in a small fake plastic frog, partly hidden in the bedding.
Everyong looking into the tank 'spotted' the frog and assumed that's all that was in it. It was rather fun.
Nice work by the way, neatly done!
