    How's my set up?

I have my female in a 35 gal tank with 2 identical hides at either end. On the hot side I have a UTH, and a 75W infrared bulb. Her water dish is big enough for her to soak in, and its pretty much in the middle but closer to the cool side. I also have 2 digital thermometers with the probs on the hot side, and the cool side, covered by fake plants. Lastly, there's a hygrometer in the middle of the tank. (Sorry about the picture quality, the only camera I have is my phone.)

Watch the plants on the hot side, the snake can crawl up that and touch the hot top. I had the same issue, I moved all my fake plants to the other side where there is no lamp at the top. Your tank looks almost exactly like mine except bigger

    What substrate is that?

The light is far enough away from the top of the plant I dont think theres a serious danger, and the substrate is exo-terra forest bark.

You could go to a store and buy a space heater for 20 bucks or so... that would bring your room up to 80.
