Lawrence - I have no idea why I jump every time with the ones that eat live. I don't jump when I do actually get struck at when it's not on feeding day or when I'm working. I just stand there and say "Excuse me!" at the snake if it's latched on to me or if it was just a bluff strike.
Jake - I've yet to get her to switch over to eating pre killed or f/t. I'm working on it, beleive me.

I think it's cute. I still jump when my Boa strikes because he's so fast. That's why it cracks me up when people tell you not to jerk back if you get bit by your snake... I think most of the time it's unavoidable.
Nice video. Although I don't see a reason to feed live when they will take dead almost everytime. great looking baby thats for sure!
That's nice Jake and I'm glad you feed however you want to feed...however....bringing an agenda in about a certain method of feeding when all this person is doing is sharing a video and did not invite discussion about feeding styles is a bit presumptious don't you think?
