    Argh!

Does anyone else have a cell phone that freezes up?

My phone keeps freezing up... when not in use. The backlight gets stuck on, and it freezes up and well the light never goes out so it just drains my battery. This is not the first time this has happend. It happend with the old one as well (same model)... I took it back and Verizon gave me a new one. Thought all was well and dandy... nope this phone does it too. This morning my father told me that his phone froze up.

So who else on here has Verizon as your cell carrier? What kind of phone do you use... do you like it? Any problems, etc?

My father and I are both a bit T'ed off with this kind of phone. So I'm looking in to getting us better ones. The one's we have now are Samsungs.

My old Motorola v400 used to do that, but only when I try to hang up would it ever happen.

    Samsung a650

It doesn't do it every time, but at least once or twice a week it does it. Usually happens after I check what time it is, or just open up my phone. I have my back light to go off after 15 seconds.... I always make sure it goes off before closing my phone. I've learned if it doesn't go off in 15 seconds that it is getting ready to freeze up. What a bad phone!

My husband has an a900 that freezes up occasionally. I hate that phone, it doesn't hold a charge and while it looks good it's just not worth it.

    Re: Argh!

Verizon is my carrier, but my two phones are Nokias. One is at least six yo and has been dropped and dinged so much the battery is loose, but no problems with them freezing.

The Kiocera I got to replace the former fiance's during his crap, the speaker ? went out. It buzzes and echos and shorts out, but it was a temporary thing----so it can be repaired by the local womens' shelter as a 911 phone.

The little pocketwatch sized LG I have, I haven't charged and used yet. < I don't like that style....too small > but if I HAVE to replace the older Nokia, then the LG will become my MK phone. The fiance liked the LG and packed it around everywhere. When I finally got it back from the you-know-what (NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY), I had already gotten the Kiocera as a replacement.
