So, one of my fav. things to sip on is Bolthouse Farm's "green goodness"....

***warning*** if anyone tries it, it looks like what Linda Blair projected !

I was wondering is Simpler would benifit from a little now and then????

    Mlededee?????

    The ingrendients are as followed....

Apple Juice from concentrate/water, Pineapple Juice from concentrat /water, Mango Puree from concentrate/water, Banana Puree, Kiwi Juice, Natura Flavor, *duh*? Spirulina, Open Cell Chlorela, Vit. C, (asorbic acid)... Lime Juice, Zinc Sulfate, Broccli, Green Tea, Spinache, Barley Grass, Wheat Grass, Blue Green Algae, Echinacea Purpurea Extract, Odorless Garlic, Tamarind Puree, Dragon Fruit Juice, Lemon Bioflavonoids, Jerusalem Artichoke, and Nova Scotia Duice.....

    Woah....

"no sugar added" "100% natural ingreients" etc.........

There are several things that I don't reconise.....

due to the ascorbic acid content you shouldn't give the green stuff to simpler. their systems can't handle citrus fruits because of the high level of ascorbic/citric acid. not only has it been added to the drink but it also contains pineapple and lime juice. anything citric you want to avoid.

now for a treat he will really love and that is also good for him, try sarah milroy's "super mixture."

    2 bananas
    1 mango
    3 med. apricots
    2 peaches
5-7 strawberries (I only use the inside of the strawberry...the seeds are cut off)
    low-fat plain yogurt
    1 jar chicken baby food

Blend everything together and...voila! Super Mixture is born. This recipe was given to me by a friend, and I have to say that it's worked out great. I changed it a little (I cut off the strawberry seeds because I've heard some weird things and they don't like to eat them anyway), but the cresteds love it! Every one of my geckos lick their dish clean when they get this stuff. Keep in mind that the recipe can be reduced and it's not set in stone, you can add another peach, take away a banana, etc. Prepared like this, it lasts me a while, and I have a lot of geckos. Sometimes I'll also add a little Herptivite or Rep-Cal.

i made a similar mix one time that my geckos loved: 1 banana, several strawberries, a peach, a scoop of plain sugar-free low-fat yogurt, a few spoonfuls of cgd and about 30 wax worms. soooo delicious.

i like the white one--it's soy chai something or another. i also like to use the fruit ones in smoothies--add some fruit, plain yogurt and ice--yum!
