You must have to mist like crazzzzzyyyy. I used to have mine in a 40 gallon tank sort of like that but it was meant for reptiles, and totally was not meant for a snake that needs humidity. If it is in your budget I would try and get an Animal Plastics cage! They rock!!! But if this is what works for you by all means use it!
Yeah or you live in Florida like me and you almost need the lamps to remove the humidity on purpose. I'm at 59% humidity and I haven't misted in a week or more
