    Helix, Ranco and Johnson

Anyone know if these makes of thermostat/rheostat are available in the UK - any UK board members using any of the above - I have searched the Web and Habistat (which I currently use) seem to be the "top" UK brand - any help/advice appreciated.

Thanks for the link but I am having trouble finding out if they do a 240v version in addition to the 110v in the US.

You can wire the johnson A419 for 240v. I think the ranco you can do the same but im not 100% sure on them.

    Hi again,

Are your products (specifically the Helix DBS1000 proportional thermostat (grounded) ) available in 240volt ?

    Derek

Hello, Not yet. We are working on a new system for the rest of the world that we are sure will be the top thermostat of all time. Hopefully later this year or early next we will start distributions. I will keep your address and update you as we get closer. Thanks for thinking Helix,

    Hope this helps,

    Re: Helix, Ranco and Johnson

hey, i live in the republic and am using the ranco which i find great, you can wire it to 240 volts, or you can buy a voltage transformer from Maplin, the hertz won't be a problem since its an on/off thermostat.

However all proportional thermostats like the helix will not work proply because of the difference in hertz. hope this helps!
