Never have heard of a CFB... BUT there is such a snake that is called the flying tree snake.

Flying snakes are a small group of species of tree snakes that live in South and Southeast Asia. At rest they appear unremarkable, but on the move they're able to take to the air by jumping from the tree, flattening the entire body, and gliding or parachuting to the ground or another tree.

    Has more info on them

So does this one * plus some awesome pictures of them...

This snake sounds truly awesome, that's all I have to say. It's like the type of snake that someone would write a metal song about.

Thats the problem with common names. Different people from different areas call the same species different names.
    lol
    Did that make any sense?

Re: Humm, a Chinese Flying Boa???

The Flying Tree Snakes from South Asia are rearfanged so be careful with them... They like other tree snakes are very aggressive... Although it is my understanding that the venom is not very harmful to humans unless you are allergic... There arent many in captivity, they usually don't do very well... So maybe this isn't what it is at all... See if you can get him to send you a picture and post it then maybe we can tell you exactly what it is...
