    Light cycle

Hey guys I provide a red flood light for my bp enclosure, I was reading some material regarding redtail boas light cycle... and I thought about my bp. Do Bp's need a 12 hour light cycle, and can they see red light ?

They can't see red light. They DO require a light cycle....however, that doesn't mean they need a bright light shining directly on their enclosure. Just the ambient light in the room from windows and/or lamps is fine.
