    arboreal ball?

    hi all...
for the past 3 days, my snake has been spending his time up in his braanches. he does come down to drink and go to the bathroom...(on top of his hide every time) i just thought it was uncommon for balls to "perch".
    any comments?

As it grows older and heavier it will do it less and less.

I would check to make sure all your husbandry is correct, that it's not too warm or too cool on the ground that would make her want to climb. Are her hides nice and snug that you are offering her?

it very well may be the rodents, Joe!!!! he's eating 2 at a feeding now...he seems to want to perch right before it's time to eat, too...maybe he's up there hunting. after he ate last night, he went in his hot side hide, so i don't think it's a husbandry issue...temps are good...,nothing has changed. maybe it's his way f getting "high" hahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaa
