    yea plenty of questions alright....

like I said Im going to an expo... hopefully Ill find what I want there. if not I guess Ill try to find a local breeder. Im quite scared of getting something online cause I heard so many stories that they will die durring shipment. and such. I want to get one as young as possible but not to the point that they were never fed before cause I hear teaching them to eat when they are hachlings can be hard they might be very stressed starve themselves and I would perfer one that eats frozen rats if possible. because first, I hear from plenty that its safer for then snake and for me it would just be easier to buy like 20 frozen rats or pinkies whatever and stick them in the freezer...

Buying from a reputable breeder is the assurance that your BP will be well started.

I will reassure you stories you might have heard about shipping are the exceptions, breeders ship Ball Python every day without problem, 9 of mine were delivered to my door through Fedex and I never had a problem.

Feeding F/T is mostly a choice of convenience at least for me, keep in mind not all BP will eat F/T so if you purchase a BP maybe it will be in your interest that you make sure this is already what he is eating in case you do not want to switch him yourself.

Feeding live can be as safe as long as you are responsible, supervise feeding, and feed the appropriate size prey.

Let's see, I've had 12 snakes shipped by FedEx to me, and all are doing great! I've shipped 5 snakes to people with no problems. It is really a matter or working with someone who's reputable!
