Re: Late breeding
"Change" is an important stimulant for inducing breeding ... sometimes it's not enough to cycle temps or light ... sometimes a "bigger" change is needed ... the vision racks are a semi open air system right?
And for whatever it's worth, I don't think anyone would consider Feb "late" as far as breeding goes ... I've got many months of pairing males and females still ahead of me!
Congrats!!!

Re: Late breeding
Dread, not a late breeding at all. sometimes I have quite a few that dont deciede to breed until late spring and into the summer. not unusual to have eggs hatching in November and December. Good luck with that breeding!

Re: Late breeding
Dread I've had alot of success switching my breeders to the vision rack. It make's sense what Adam says. I switch my snakes to a different room and different rack to breed and that change and temps was probably part of the stimulation to go into breeding. One female already dropped eggs and others are still breeding. Good luck and boy that girls is huge she already looks gravid!
