i know that it seems everyone on here hates PETCO, but I don't necessarily think the company sucks.....it's just SOME of the people that have been hired to work in the stores suck......that being said, it has been my experience that the larger percentage of the people that work there are not very well versed on reptiles.But, on the other hand, I worked at a PETCO for six years and consider myself pretty experienced with reptiles, mostly snakes....AND much to the aggravation of my manager (heheh) I would often "tip" a customer on the equipment they could get elsewhere for a lot cheaper,and of a better quality.
