    Pics of the colony..

Since my colony is a bit small, I decided to take pics of most of the rats. First off, our new litter; 19 babies! They were from two different moms, but in a nutshell, one mom hogged all the babies and the other mom was stressed by this and lost interest; I think she has dried up, so I seperated her and she is on cage rest for awhile.

    Mom with them..

Mom #2 who will be rested for awhile and re-bred when I get a new male.. (is she a Bareback?)

This little gem is a keeper; I fed off her litter, but she has a neat honey-beige coloration, and is very hand-tame, so she's going to stay on as a breeder and possibly more of a "pet" rat. I am going to see how she gets along with mom#2 so she can have a cagemate for the time being.
On my sleeve; I plan on working with her and handling her often, which is something I don't find time for with my regular breeders.

In a small tub for a pic (had eco-earth in it, that's the brown stuff.)

And lastly, my siamese girl, bred from a siamese x blue. She has a twin stster who is the mom of the little beige girl, but her photos did not come out good. You can also see the water-bottles I swear by; glass, can't be chewed into, and they have a metal guard for the screw-on tube part, plus the metal hanger guards against chewing too! Her and her sister are cagemates and are not currently bred.
