Re: overfeed
you feeding live or frozen? is your snake and adult or baby. Whats your set up like? what are your temps, hides, cage size? my original male goes off feed for about a month and a half to two every winter, no worries, he always starts again with a great feed response! More info is needed before we can make an estimation or fix the problem that may be causing the poor feeding response.

Re: overfeed
It's really hard to judge since there are so many factors that could be at work. My first concern would be that the temps are off, but if you 200% sure that they are spot on, then it's possible that she may be sensitive to the barometric changes occuring. Have you had her to the vet, to be checked for internal parasites? How long have you had her and what size cage is she in?

Re: overfeed
i have had her nearly 6 mths she was regular as clockwork, she is fed f/t,as live feeding is illegal in uk,the temps over here could be the key, last week we had temps of six degrees during the day, they are now back up to 14

Re: overfeed
Just a quick point Daveyboy,
Live feeding is NOT illegal in the u.k. It's not recomended and you might have to explain to the rspca (if anyone complains) that you have tried all other methods and your snake will not accept anything but live, but, if the alternative is your pet starving to death, it is perfectly legal to feed live.
People have been trying to get this drivel accepted as truth for years for whatever reason and it really rattles my cage.
Even people who should know better , like pet shop employees and even some rspca inspectors, just accept this cos " I was told once", and parrot it on to others. If it was illegal they wouldn't be allowed to feed daphnea to fish or insects to lizards.
I still feed frozen myself but in an emergency it's important to know what measure you CAN take if necessary.
Sorry for banging on but peta disinformation has been annoying me lately.

Re: overfeed
To be honest I'm not certain.
North has some wierd animal laws (or had) owing to being left out of some legislation at one point - I assume they fixed it but you know what they say about assuming.
Southern Ireland is obviously a completely seperate bunch of laws.
Only thing i can think of as a way of finding out for certain that wont cost the earth ( i.e. no lawyers - just like in heaven) is to buttonhole a policeman and make him go find out.
