those fogger things...
i really need to boost the humidity in my snakes tank, and i was wondering if one of those fogger things could be used, you know you always see them at the pet store fogging up some tank. is that alright to use, or is it overkill?

Re: those fogger things...
We bought one and messed with it but with the amount of water it goes through, you're filling a LOT so you might as well mist with a bottle yourself...and they're kinda loud.

well i wasnt planning on having it on all the time, just come on at a certain time of day every day, so it maintains the humidity, and plus it looks cooler than spraying water in myself

I wouldn't use the foggers either. You may want to consider humid hides though. They're an excellent and easy fix. Use a small rubbermaid like container. Cut/melt entrace in, then add a bit of damp moss or papertowel and you are in business.
