too soon to pick her up?
ok, finally, tomorrow it will have been a week ive had my ball python. shes used to her surroundings now, i can finally pick her up. the problem is i fed her 2 days ago, there really isnt a visible bulge, but i dont want her to regurgitate. is it safe to pick her up tomorrow?

Re: too soon to pick her up?
Sounds like you've done everything by the book 2 days is the reccomended time for after feeding--so I'm sure she'll be fine if you handle her tomorrow.
I had my first handling today--two days after feeding--without a hitch

Re: too soon to pick her up?
she only needs 48 hours to digest... and a week to settle in... so it sounds like a nice short handling period is definitely in your immediate future! congrats!!!

You have 1440 minutes a day... how are you going to spend yours?

Umm not trying to break your heart but since this is a rather new snake(1 week as of 2-17-2007) you might want to wait and see if she eats 1 more meal. This way she will become a established eater and no stress on her between meals.I know it sounds like i am being mean here but i am only thinking of you and your snakes well being .You will have 20+yrs to hold her
