Question about: Reptile Show - Arlington, Tx Feb 17th-18th

this is going to be the first reptile show my wife and i are going to attend. she is wanting to get a normal BP female soon and i was wondering if there is anything i should be cautious of when buying from a show or expo. (i dont even know if we will be able to purchase anything there, i was simply assuming) pointers such as expense or, breeders i should find (or beware of) would be of great assistance. thanks - jakob

I'll be at that show and several other BP.netters as well. We'd be happy to show you around if you like. Yes, you can buy animals there...and there will be LOTS to choose from.

There should be several very high-quality, trustworthy vendors with lots of selection to choose from. I don't know of anyone specific to avoid, but I imagine all shows have someone like that.

I'll be wearing a white shirt with the BP.net logo on it....and at 2pm on Saturday, we're going to meet just outside the showroom doors in the hallway...and head out to lunch for a BP.net get-together. You and your wife are MORE than welcome to join us! (I warn you...we're liable to be a rather eclectic sort of group! LOL)

thats great! i appreciate the invitation. ill be wearing a Darth Vader costume with red frilly lace on the boots, and my wife...(bless her Midget heart) will be an Ewok!

Yeah....but I have family up that way and will be spending the weekend with my sister who lives in Ft. Worth. It'll be a nice trip for me.


There are some around here who would pay a pretty penny to see that Vader costume with the red lacy boots....
