Firmly take your finger underneath their tail right behind the poop shoot. Drag it down towards the tail, firmly but not too hard. Do this a few times and if you feel two back-to-back bumps...it's a male! It works every time. I've sexed Bp, rtb, rosy boas, dumerils, carpets with this method and have never been wrong "yet". For no reason am I saying it's better than probing, but most people don't probe right and can injure your snake if they don't know what they are doing, so this is a safe and accurate method.
