Male/Female, weight, age, and any other info would be alot more helpful to identify what this is but i can tell you right now that it is gonna end with a trip to the vet.

Did this happen while you were holding him? Sometimes, if they get really stressed, they will evert their sexual organs. (Even females can do this to some extent) If it showed up...and then went away when you put him back in his cage...then everything should be fine.
If it's still there even while the snake is "relaxing" then it may be a prolapsed cloaca and needs a vet's attention immediately.
