No Poo?
My young bp, Happy, hasn't poo'd in almost 2 weeks. He has an all-white belly, so I can see its in there. He deep in shed right now. I gave him a warm bath a few days ago, and I'll probably give him another today to help with the shed. (I use a probe thermometer in the water so I can keep the temperature perfect.)
I'm not sure if this is a problem since he hasn't gone in 2 weeks. He eats fine. I know my RTB will hold it for a few weeks during the winter and be fine, I wasn't sure about bp's.
His temps are 94.2-95.6 on the warm side, and about 84 on the cool. Humidity is around 65% for his shedding time.
He's also in a new home, so I don't know if the stress of the short move is making him hold it. He's been here for 5 days now.
His fedding day is Monday, but I was wondering if I should hold off feeding him until he poo's.

Re: No Poo?
BP's can go WEEKS between poos. It's totally normal. VERY likely he'll poo when he sheds.
PLEASE don't bathe him during the shed cycle. Doing so can actually make the shed more difficult. Bathing should be resorted to only IF a shed goes bad...then a soak can help get any extra old skin off. But soaking before he sheds removes essential oils that their bodies produce to help them slough off their old skin.

Re: No Poo?
From what I understand of the shed process they have a layer of liquid that forms between the old, soon to be shed skin and the new stuff underneath. Soaking may actually mess up this by leeching out that liquid through osmosis. Soaking is best left for sheds that don't naturally come off complete. Soaking also stresses your snake so use it only if really needed. Quite a lot of snakes will defecate during shed and you may even find a lovely stinky "present" wrapped up in their shed.

Re: No Poo?
Alright, no more baths. Is the humidity in the tank okay at 65%? Is this too high? Too low? I lightly mist a couple times a day with warm water, (only during shed time, and he's usually snuggled up in a hide when I mist, so the water doesn't get him directly.) Is this alright?

Re: No Poo?
I'll chime in as well - they'll poo when they're good and ready and it can range from 1 week up to several...but when they're ready, bam! you get poo. =D

Abbath cranked out a HUGE lawn sausage 3 days after I got him when he shed. I though he gave birth to a pigmy ball
