Joe, you only hear about the bad ones. There are hundreds of thousands of good transactions DAILY. I've never had a problem with ebay, and still use it from time to time. Fortunately for me, i've only had run ins with the good guys. it's that positive rating that tells all!

    Congrats on the win

Thats awesome!! Glad you had a good experience. I have never personally used e-bay. Main reason, theres never any guarantee. I have friends that have used it several times and had things go both ways.

Cool beans! I love ebay, when something goes wrong the buyer either did something wrong(didn't pay soon enough) or the seller was unreputable. Just check the seller's feedback and make sure you pay quickly. Everything should go great!

I buy and sell on ebay a lot. Have a 100% rep. I have never had 1 problem with buying on line. I did not recieve one item but it turned out that someone witnessed the item being taken from my front porch. Luckily it was nothing expensive.

Just to let you know ebay can be very addicting. You can find a good deal on anything you want. Also if you use paypal buyer credit paypal will guarantee the purchase up to $1000.Trey

Thanks guys and gals! Well this week kinda has a extra meaning to it all in its own.As of 2-9-2007 it will be 6yrs since my last day of working, then 2-14-2007 will be 6yrs since my cancer operation. Then while i was in Intensive care Dale Earnhardt had his accident .Even though i was unable to talk or respond i heard(someone left tv on) that he had passed on.Then after several days i woke up and i wrote on paper asking my wife if what i heard was true or just a dream.Sadly she told me it was true.So just to let everyone know i will be "low key" for the next several days so if i dont respond please dont take it personal. Thanks

    Re: My first Ebay dealing

Joe my dad was in and out of the hospital in 06 for some pretty serious stuff...we won't get all into it, but it took him out of work for nearly the entire year. He got pretty bored and i told him about how people can make a lot of money selling stuff on e-bay. You should take that into consideration. I'd like to try for a few weeks to be one of those 6am garage sale shoppers...they get all the good stuff, and throw it up on e-bay!! One of my teachers in my first college averaged between 2 and 3,000 dollars a month selling cloths...do the math on that, that's between 24,000 and 36,000 dollars a year. not bad! E-bay can be fun. it is work tho.
