    pics of my adult rack

Took about 2 4x8 sheets of MDF/melamine, 9 6 foot pieces of 1x4, and 5 2x4 along with some various screws and 2.5" casters. it holds 8 snakes and is short enough for me. (top shelf was not on in this pic)

Re: pics of my adult rack

I've done something similar...the reason i havn't finished is because it was recommended that I put a sealer on it. did you seal that one? I've found it will probably be easier for me to seal before i build because i can't get a brush between the layers...bleh.

Can you give me some info on your method of heating? Flexwatt? I'd really appreciate it if u could snap some pics of how you've got your flexwatt in there...thnx

Re: pics of my adult rack

Will do later tonight. I did not seal anything. There is actually a 1/8" gap in between the tubs and the next shelf so it is making holding humidity real fun right now since it is so dry out. I am having to mist 1-2 times daily. One time for my normal tubs and twice for the tubs with shedding snakes. I am using a footlong strip of 11" flexwatt under each tub and each piece is taped to the shelf. I made the gap so I would have room for the tubs to slide over the flexwatt with no problems.

It is real easy to make. The best part is it costs me tons less than manufactured PVC racks.
