My 4 month bp hasnt pooped in over a month
Im concerned that he might have swallowed a piece of bark while eating. He only eats a night and is very shy about it which is why i feed him in his cage. He is eating fine, once every weekThe substrate is fir bark in pretty small pieces. His body feels tight, and he hasnt pooped in a very long time. I started giving him warm baths yesterday.I keep checking his cage for droppings, and nothing! What do guys think i sould do? I am very worried.

Do you think that he could have swallowed a bark chip though? Is that bad?

Mine have gone a little over a month without going. It's a little bigger when they wait, is all. Be ready to clean up a mess!

clean out the cage very well, get it spotless. then handle the snake for 15-20 minutes. put it back in and the next morning you should have a present!
this is kind of a joke and kind of not, clean the cage though!!

Yes a clean cage is like a sign to snakes that they should poop. You can see them go "YAY my house is clean!!! I need to poop..."

Very true! Both will work great!
You could also switch to Zoo Med's Eco-earth which actually states that it is not harmful if accidentially swallowed!...It's a all natural shredded coconut husk substrate that comes in a small brick-like form.
It's kind of a mess to get started with...but the end result is beautiful! And for the best all natural realistic looking substrate you can't beat it!
