    Any fishermen/Women? Hunters?

Who so ever does, share some stories!!! What is your favorite place to fish, your dream trip, dream hunt, your favorite fish?

I love redfish, flats fishing for slot reds (or kayaking) is amazing...watching tailing reds..man. My favorite location is Sportsmans reef Galvoston Texas. My dream fishing trip is to go to Florda and catch HUGE tarpon.

As for hunting, I haven't ever gone yet. We shoot alot( Competition skeet) I want to hunt dove up in North Texas. My dream trip would be to go to South Dakota and hunt Phesant

    It's your turn now!

I love fishing. I'm not super good at it, and I don't know a lot about it, but just going out and catching bluegills, bass, perch, or whatever is a lot of fun. I caught a pike once, he was cool. Oh, and largemouth bass are tasty.

I have never been hunting, but someday I want to get a falconry license.

If you ever get into falconry let me know as i have always wanted to watch one hunt. Now onto fishing,we have several places we go and catch bass, catfish, bluegill here. This year was my first time hunting since i was diagnosed with cancer and such.I did get a chance at a doe with my shotgun but missed her by inches. That was the first deer i have ever seen that turned around so fast that her print was placed in the same one when i shot at her.In other words she left a print with one over the other going the opposite directions lol.

I won't be getting into falconry until after I move to Texas.

.....I live in "The Sportsman's Paradise".....

...of course I hunt and fish.... Within a 20 minute ride from my house, I have just about any type of environment you could ever need to enjoy the outdoors....fishing in the marshes or the Gulf....countless ponds and canals to fish.....thick woods, marshes, and swamps to hunt...lots of reptile environment for my field herping adventures...

....the only thing we don't have is mountains.....LMAO....but who needs mountains

    Re: Any fishermen/Women? Hunters?

I freshwater fish for largemouth bass. I use to fish in the " Redman tourneys"
    and Virginia Bass federation tourneys.

I love to fish down at Lake Anna,Va. and on the good old Potomac river which just happens to be one of the top 10 bass fishing rivers in the country.

One of my dream trips would be to fish for Black Marlin off the coast of Costa Rica.
Also would love to fish for the giant largemouth in a lot of lakes down in Mexico where 10-15 lb'ers are common.

    A few years ago I did get to finally fish in one of my dream places;
The lake in front of Disney World in Fla. I had read about how you could catch 100 2-4 lb'ers in a few hours.
So when I took my son to Disney World I arranged several trips in the Lake and the canals that run thru Disney. It was awesome. We used huge shiners and I caught about 30 3-5 lb'ers in about 2 hrs. Then one morning in the canal by our hotel I caught a 9 1/2 pound bass. It was a dream come true

    Re: Any fishermen/Women? Hunters?

I go back to my parents (Nebraska) every year for Whitetail season. My son Alex went with me this year. We also hunt Dove and Pheasant there on occasion, and we have been "planting" Quail. Those have been kind of tough to keep going because of all the coyote and bobcats.

Spent most of my life hunting and fishing in Colorado.
