The nitty gritty of keeping a RTB
I've got 1 cornsnake (Jellybean) and 1 BP (The Admiral) and I'm thinking about diving in to the world of larger snakes (RTB). My friend has an awesome red tail that I would love to have but he won't give it to me! Ha! So on to the questions: do they thrive in tubs, or do they need something else? Hot and cool side temps? Do they need hides like BPs? humidity? substrate? Growth rate assuming good feeding habits (I know this varies a lot, but I'm just asking for generalities). Do they make good "display" snakes? Any other things I should know about them? I don't plan on breeding or anything like that, just add to the collection. Thanks in advance.
ps. I know there are a few different species (like the B.C.I., etc), are there any real differences between them?

that's a good question, can red tails be kept in tubs or are they too active for that?

Tubs are fine so long as they are of proper size.
