shedding a lot..
OK.. I got my spoider male about a month ago (over a month, maybe about 35 days..) He was in shed when he arrived, and shed good.. now I look in on him today.. and he is in blue again! This seems pretty weird.. I know he is a fast-growing boy, but my '06 female never sheds this much!

Re: shedding a lot..
My pastel did that. Could be for adjusting to a new home. Just my 2cents.. Or maybe grows quicker.

Re: shedding a lot..
His first shed could have been from stress of shipping, and his current shed is from growth. I've quit tracking sheds on mine (I just record feeds and refusals now), but I know some of mine hit a growth spurt and shedding five weeks apart (not all the time, but some of the time) has not been unusual.

Re: shedding a lot..
Jen,
I would not be too concerned. Many of our babies from this year who grow like weeds will shed as close as four weeks apart. I think it's just because he is eating and growing.

Re: shedding a lot..
Heck Jen if I could dig back in my post posts I remember a panicked one I did when Rionnach shed only 2 weeks apart LOL. She never did it again and everything was fine just a big, sudden growth spurt. I remember folks here telling me to relax and if everything in her husbandry was good and so forth, it was just likely a young snake growing thing (and it was).
