I have a copy of "Ball Pythons in Captivity" by Kevin McCurley that really gives a solid rundown of the basics including enclosure information, feeding information, signs of illnesses...things like that. It's the first book he published and it's a small 100-pager. In combination with BP.net, this little book and the site taught me a lot--and all I needed to know

More recently, Kevin published "The Complete Ball Python", which goes into genetics of morphs, too...I don't personally own this, but I've heard good things. You can find either of them on Amazon.
