    Ultimate snow (dialup warning!)

Well.. if there is anyone out there who wants some snow.. just stop on by our place!

    Mark plowing it:

    Dang, I love this man..

The result: note that the snowpiles are about a third of the way up the garage (building on left with American flag..) We have had years where it went up to its roof.. that's the abandoned barn in the background.

I had to let the girls out for about half an hour to get their stalls clean; they rolled a bunch and then just stood there patiently waiting to be let in.. see, the scenery looks beautiful, but it is bitterly and brutally windy out there. There are all kindsa warnings about frostbite being broadcast on TV..

Our back stairs would make a great sledding ramp!

    Nice pictures, thanks.
I wish we would get some snow like that here. If we did this city would be shut down for at least 2-3 days, and I mean totally shut down! And that would mean some days off from work and some good stuff cooking in the crockpot

Brrrr! I can only dream of my work getting closed for weather; they have done it once in the last 10 years.
But heck, if we happen to get "stuck" in the driveway, I can always call-off! Although, the showmobile trail does go through our back fields.. and does pass by my work..

Kim, if I could, I would send you the while kit-n-caboodle of snow right now!

Ugh! I hate snow. We've been having practical white-outs here in MI Thanks to the lake effect.

    Re: Ultimate snow (dialup warning!)

Yeah, they like to roll around and romp and play chase for about half an hour; then it's "we wanna go back in!" Then once they're in the barn, they look out over their stall doors like they want to go back out.. but I think it's too windy and cold for them to be out.

    Snow? That's not snow

Here's what a real snowstorm in Newfoundland looks like:
    The Trans Canada Highway

    St. John's (the capital)

The park next to my house

    Downtown

    My street

What it looks like for most of the winter

Great city, we plow all snow into the harbour and tow it out to sea
