I have interview Friday! An opportunity floated my way for a position at a company here in the same town I work currently. I'm really excited the salary is WAY higher but what's more important to me is I would be doing the level of IT work I would like to be doing and have more challenges. The position is Network Engineer and with a company who works with alloy materials and castings.

Good luck! My boyfriend's ultimate career goal is Network Engineer! He's going in for another Cisco cert in February--and wants to take the last one--the CCIE by the end of the year. He says it's really hard, and expects to take it a few times He's currently working the the NOC for Aetna.
